Description:
Design competition with PHILIPS MEDICAL SYSTEM ATL Spa as group leader organized by the Azienda Ospedaliera Ospedale San Martino e Cliniche Universitarie Convenzionate for the design and execution of works related to the arrangement of 1A Division of Radiology and Interventional Radiology in the first floor of Monoblocco Acuti. The Division includes the Departments of Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Ultrasound, General Services, Conventional Radiology, CT Scan, Interventional Radiology and Operating Block. The overall objective of the project was to create a new department fully functional through specific technical solutions to answer the requirements of "humanization" and "tranquility" in addition to energy saving principles. In fact our opinion that today's health care facilities, in addition to technical solutions, offer enough space on one side and organization such as to facilitate the performance of work and the other a reassuring image and efficiency. The project creates comfortable spaces for both those who work and for those who use the services of the department. These concepts are not limited to functional organization but also fall in the choices of details up tothe equipment, materials, finishes and colors.
